I commonly work with people who the rest of the world thinks are doing great (or were, until some life-altering change occurred)β€” people who are trying their best but still feel like it’s not enough, or things keep going wrong. If this describes you, you know how painful it can be when things seem out of your control.

My research and practice are focused on perfectionism, codependency, burnout and compassion fatigue, so I have experience working with those who care for others and the world like nurses, teachers, parents, clergy, nonprofit workers and activists.

I also love working with people who are used to handling things themselves and may be skeptical about therapy.

It is important to me to be affirming of all genders and expressions, and to be an active anti-racist ally.

I am a person-centered therapist. That means that I see myself as a partner and supporter, but that I believe that you are the expert on your own life. I also believe that the first step to making the changes you want for yourself is being fully heard and truly seen. I can help you set boundaries, make plans, recognize patterns, change habits and author your own story.
